When will Superhot premiere, and how many episodes are there?
All ten episodes of the docuseries will debut Monday, January 22, only on Hulu.
Superhot dives deep into a subculture that is “fueled by spice”, according to the official synopsis. It looks at growers, considered elite, who work to create new offerings. It also examines chili eaters who get an endorphin rush from consuming those new foods. The documentary will also follow one legend’s quest to answer the question of whether there’s a pepper that can “challenge the world’s hottest.”
Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper People is executive produced by Scott Feeley, Corinna Robbins, and Brian Skope for High Noon Entertainment, Chad Mumm and Mark W. Olsen for Vox Media Studios, and David Chang, Dave O’Connor, Chris Ying, and Christopher C. Chen for Majordomo Media. The series is directed by Skope.
It joins other Hulu docuseries, including Daughters of the Cult and the upcoming Death in the Dorms, which returns for a new season in February.
