FX has released a brand new A Murder at the End of the World trailer for its forthcoming mystery thriller drama, featuring The Crown‘s Emma Corrin as a Gen Z Sherlock Holmes type.
In the video, after getting invited to become one of the guests at a mysterious billionaire’s retreat, Corrin’s character Darby Hart — who has become a famed amateur detective — unexpectedly finds her next big case while staying at a remote location. The series will start streaming on November 14 exclusively on Hulu.

Who’s in A Murder At The End of the World?
A Murder At The End of The World is created and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, with Marling also co-starring in the series. Joining Corin are Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.
“A mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm — a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart,” reads the logline. “Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests before the killer takes another life.”
The 7-episode series is executive produced by Marling, Batmanglij, Andrea Sperling, Melanie Marnich, and Nicki Paluga. It hails from FX Productions.
