Apple TV+ has released The Changeling video for its latest supernatural fantasy, featuring lead stars LaKeith Stanfield and Clark Backo as they discuss the importance of representation.
The video also shows Stanfield and Backo teasing the series’ mysterious story, which they described as a “journey between two lovers who are doing everything they need to get their baby.” The series will be available for streaming on September 8.

Who’s Involved in The Changeling?
The Changeling is based on Victor LaValle’s bestselling novel of the same name. It is described as a fairytale for grown-ups. “A horror story, a parenthood fable and a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed,” reads the logline. Joining Stanfield are Clark Backo, Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson, with Malcolm Barrett.
The series is written and executive produced by Cruella’s Kelly Marcel, who is also serving as the showrunner. The pilot was directed by Melina Matsoukas, with Apple Studios and Annapurna producing the adaptation. Executive produces are LaValle, Stanfield, Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, Ali Krug, David Knoller, Jonathan van Tulleken, Sue Naegle, David Wolkis, and Khaliah Neal.
