Netflix has dropped a brand new featurette for The Crown Season 5, the forthcoming new installment to the acclaimed drama which hails from Peter Morgan. The series is scheduled to make its return on November 9.

The Crown Season 5 featurette has commentary from the new cast and Morgan as they reintroduce the drama’s familiar characters while discussing what fans should expect to see from their respective characters.
Like previous seasons, The Crown Season 5 will feature an entirely new cast led by Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Jonny Lee Miller as John Major. They will also serve as the final cast of the series, as they are expected to return for the sixth and final installment of the award-winning drama.
For its fourth season, the series won seven major Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Lead Actor for Josh O’Connor, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Gillian Anderson, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Tobias Menzies.

The Crown hails from creator/writer Peter Morgan, director Stephen Daldry, and producer Andy Harries (The Queen). Since its debut, it has won a number of awards, including three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Emma Corrin. Seasons 1-4 of The Crown are available for streaming on Netflix.
