Netflix debuted the first official trailer for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming whodunit series The Watcher, alongside a premiere date for the limited series.

The upcoming series is set to star Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Jennifer Coolidge, Margo Martindale, Mia Farrow, and more. It will premiere on Netflix on October 13.

Netflix originally won the bidding wars for The Watcher in 2018, with development on the project lasting throughout. The series is set to adapt a story from The Cut written in 2018 by Reeves Wideman.

“After the Brannock family moves into what was supposed to be their suburban dream home, it quickly becomes a living hell,” says the synopsis. “Ominous letters from someone calling themself ‘The Watcher’ are just the beginning as the neighborhood’s sinister secrets come spilling out.”
