Netflix has released the official trailer for Narco-Saints, the upcoming South Korean crime drama starring Squid Game actor Park Hae-soo, who’s currently nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The series is scheduled to make its debut this Friday, September 9.

The video features business Kang In-gu as he gets framed by a notorious Korean drug lord who moonlights as a pastor. He must infiltrate Jeon Yohan’s cartel in order to restore his reputation.
Based on true events, Narco-Saints centers around an ordinary entrepreneur who joins a secret government mission to capture a Korean drug lord operating in South America. The series stars Ha Jung-woo (The Handmaiden), Hwang Jung-min (Ode to My Father), Park Hae-soo (Squid Game), Jo Woo-jin (Chicago Typewriter), Yoo Yeon-seok (Hospital Playlist), and Chang Chen (Dune).

Narco-Saints is co-created and written by Kwon Sung-hui and Yoon Jong-bin, who is also serving as the director.
