Netflix has revealed a brand new Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area teaser for its forthcoming South Korean remake of the popular action drama. Featuring Squid Game‘s Park Hae-soo, the series will be available for streaming on June 24.
The video, which you check out below, finally unveils the official mask that will be used in the series as well as a glimpse of the main cast together. Instead of La Casa de Papel‘s signature Salvador Dali mask, this new version will see the protagonists using a traditional Korean Hahoe mask.

“The series narrates a genius strategist and his talented crew – composed of top-class thieves – attempting to pull off an unprecedented heist in the Korean Peninsula,” reads the synopsis. “The story portrays unexpected twists and turns as the crew stage a hostage while facing inexplicable challenges. All eyes are focused on the background and definition behind the title Joint Economic Area.”

Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is directed by Kim Hong-sun from a screenplay written by Ryu Yong-jae, Kim Hwan-chae, and Choe Sung-jun. It is a production by BH Entertainment and Zium Content.
