HBO has dropped the first teaser for its upcoming romantic drama The Time Traveler’s Wife, starring Theo James and Rose Leslie. The series is expected to make its debut this May on HBO and will also be available for streaming on HBO Max.
The Time Traveler’s Wife teaser, which you can check out below, highlights Henry’s uncontrollable ability which puts him in difficult situations. His gift also complicates his relationship with his wife Clare, who’s constantly worried whenever he has to go to an unknown place and time.

Described as an intricate and magical love story, the series will tell the story of Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel. It is based on the beloved 2003 novel by Audrey Niffenegger.
HBO’s The Time Traveler’s Wife hails from Emmy-winning director David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers), and writer Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Sherlock). It stars Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) as Clare Abshire, Theo James (Divergent) as Henry DeTamble, Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst) as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez (Runner Runner) as Charisse.
Additional cast includes Michael Park, Caitlin Shorey, Everleigh McDonell, Jaime Ray Newman, Taylor Richardson, Peter Graham, Brian Altemus, Jason David, Kate Siegel, Josh Stamberg, Chelsea Frei, Marcia DeBonis, Will Brill, and Spencer House.
