Netflix has dropped the official trailer for its newest coming-of-age sci-fi action series titled The Last Bus, centering around an unlikely group of kids as they faced a robot apocalypse. The 10-episode series will be available for streaming on April 1.

The Last Bus is written and created by Paul Neafcy. It will be led by a young ensemble cast of new talent, who will be joined by The Umbrella Academy star Robert Sheehan as the villain Dalton Monkhouse, and Tom Besden (Afterlife).
“After embarking on a life-changing field trip, a group of whip-smart and mismatched students become the unlikely heroes when a robot apocalypse zaps away the rest of humanity,” reads the synopsis.
The series is produced by Wildseed Studios, the company behind the thriller PrankMe. It is directed by Drew Casson, Lawrence Gough, Steve Hughes, and Nour Wazzi.

Sheehan will once again reprise his fan-favorite role as Klaus Hargreeves in Netflix’s highly-anticipated third season of The Umbrella Academy. His other acting credits include films such as The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, The Road Within, Geostorm, and Mortal Engines as well as TV appearances in The Borrowers, Fortitude, Accused, and Genius: Picasso.
