HBO Max has revealed the full trailer for the upcoming U.S. premiere of the BBC limited series The Tourist, starring Golden Globe nominee Jamie Dornan (Belfast). The mystery thriller will be available for streaming on March 3.
The Tourist trailer, which you can check out below, begins with a man who wakes up in a hospital with no recollection of his identity and what happened to him before. It highlights his frantic journey of searching for the truth and the reason why someone wants him dead.

The Tourist hails from acclaimed writers Harry and Jack Williams, who are serving as writers and executive producers. It stars Jamie Dornan, Danielle Macdonald, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Damon Herriman, Alex Dimitriades, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Kamil Ellis.
“In the miniseries, a British man finds himself in the glowing red heart of the Australian outback being pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road,” reads the synopsis. “An epic cat and mouse chase unfolds and the man later wakes in hospital, hurt, but somehow alive. Except he has no idea who he is. With merciless figures from his past pursuing him, The Man’s search for answers propels him through the vast and unforgiving outback.
“Full of shocking, surprising, funny and brutal turns, The Tourist is set in a world populated by quirky, enigmatic characters and off-beat comedy punctuates high-stakes action. At its heart however, is a story of self-discovery with a ticking timebomb underneath: as The Man starts to uncover the mystery of who he was, he’s also forced to ask who he is now – and fast. The six-episode miniseries is co-produced by HBO Max. Two Brothers Pictures’ Christopher Aird and Andrew Benson and BBC’s Tommy Bulfin are executive producing along with Chris Sweeney, who is also set to direct. Lisa Scott is also serving as a producer.
