Netflix has debuted the official trailer for the upcoming second season of the workplace comedy Space Force, featuring Golden Globe winner Steve Carell as he returns as General Mark Naird. The series will be making its return next month on February 18.
The Space Force Season 2 trailer, which you can check out below, features Naird and his chaotic team as they try to prove their branch’s worth to the new administration.

Space Force centers around a group of people as they worked on the government’s newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces which is being led by decorated pilot, four-star General Mark R. Naird.
“Season 2 picks up with General Naird and his underdog team having to prove their worth to a new administration while dealing with interpersonal challenges,” reads the synopsis. “Will the group come together or fall apart under the pressure…? Space Force is only human after all.”
The series currently stars Carell, Oscar nominee John Malkovich (Billions), Emmy winner Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), Tawny Newsome (Star Trek: Lower Decks), Diana Silvers (Booksmart), Jimmy O. Yang (Crazy Rich Asians), and Don Lake (Zootopia, Downsizing).

Space Force is co-created by Carell and Greg Daniels, who is serving as co-showrunner with Norm Hiscock. Executive producers are Daniels, Carell, Howard Klein, Hiscock, Brent Forrester, and Ken Kwapis.
