Murderville Trailer: Will Arnett, Conan & More Do Improv to Solve Crimes

Netflix has released the official Murderville trailer for the upcoming comedy series, featuring Emmy nominee Will Arnett as Detective Terry Seattle. The series will be available for streaming on February 3.

The video teases the six guest stars who have been enlisted to help Arnett’s character in solving his murder cases. In each episode, a celebrity is forced to do some improv and guess the killer’s name on their own.

Murderville is based on the hit BBC Three series Murder in Successville. Joining Arnett as the main cast are Haneefah Wood as Chief Rhonda Jenkins-Seattle, Lilan Bowden as Medical Examiner Amber Kang, and Phillip Smithey as Detective Darren ‘Daz’ Phillips.

“Meet Senior Detective Terry Seattle, Homicide Division,” reads the synopsis. “For Terry, every day means a new murder case and a new celebrity guest star as his partner. But here’s the catch: each episode’s guest star isn’t being given the script. They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, the guest star and Terry Seattle will have to improvise their way through the case… but it will be up to each celebrity guest alone to name the killer. Join them as they punch a one-way ticket to Murderville.”

The first installment’s guest star lineup includes Sharon Stone, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Annie Murphy, and Marshawn Lynch.
