Money Heist Season 5 Vol. 2 Trailer Teases Explosive Finale For Hit Series

Netflix has finally revealed the full Money Heist Season 5 Vol. 2 trailer for highly-anticipated final episodes of the hit global action-thriller series, which will be available for streaming on December 3. The Spanish-language series is currently one of the streamers’ most viewed titles with Season 5 Vol. 1 amassing more than 69 million member households.

The video, which you can check out below along with the new images, teases the impending end to the world’s greatest heist as The Professor and the gang continue to face the wrath of the military and the heartbreaking aftermath of Tokyo’s unexpected death. Money Heist, or La Casa de Papel, centers around a group of thieves led by The Professor, who wears a Salvador Dali mask and a red jumpsuit and takes on names of different cities in order to conceal their identities. In Season 5, the gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.

“Tokyo is dead and the enemy still lurks in the Bank of Spain, wounded but dangerous as ever,” reads the synopsis for the final episodes. “Facing their darkest hour yet, the gang hatches a bold new plan to get the gold out without anyone noticing. To make matters worse, the Professor may have made the biggest mistake of his life.”

The series stars Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Darko Perić, and Paco Tous. It also features Hovik Keuchkerian, Rodrigo de la Serna, Najwa Nimri, Luka Peros, Belen Cuesta, Fernando Cayo, and Enrique Arce. Season 5 will also introduced new cast members including Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado.
