Peacock has released the official trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of author Karen M. McManus’ best-selling YA mystery thriller novel, One of Us Is Lying. The 8-episode season will roll out over the course of three weeks, starting on Thursday, October 7, with the first three episodes. The next three episodes will then debut on October 14, followed by the final two episodes on October 21.
The One of Us Is Lying trailer, which you can check out below, highlights the events following the death of Mark McKenna’s Simon, who has a lot of haters due to his online gossip group. The main suspects for his death are four other students who were with him during detention.

One of Us Is Lying is based on Karen M. McManus’s New York Times best-selling book of the same name. The series stars Marianly Tejada as Bronwyn, Cooper van Grootel as Nate, Annalisa Cochrane as Addy, Chibuikem Uche as Cooper, Jessica McLeod as Janae, Barrett Carnahan as Jake, Melissa Collazo as Maeve, and Mark McKenna as Simon.

One of Us Is Lying is created and executive produced by Darío Madrona (co-creator of Elite), who is also serving as the showrunner. Executive producers are Erica Saleh, and John Sacchi & Matt Groesch of 5 More Minutes Productions who developed the pilot, which was written by Saled and directed by Jennifer Morrison.
