Next month, Robert Kirkman’s Invincible comic book series will become a new animated drama on Amazon Prime. Like the original comic, Invincible doesn’t shy away from graphic superhero violence…as well as some shocking twists ahead.
Amazon has dropped a new trailer for Invincible, which you can check out below, that catches up with Mark Grayson before he becomes super (via SuperHeroHype). He’s the son of Omni-Man, the world’s greatest hero. However, getting powers isn’t everything that Mark dreamed it would be. And Mark’s life will change forever once he learns more about his father’s origin.

Here’s the official description from Amazon Prime:
“INVINCIBLE is an Amazon Original series based on the groundbreaking comic book from Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. The story revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons).
The hour-per-episode series also stars Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Zachary Quinto, Jason Mantzoukas, Melise, Mark Hamill, Mahershala Ali, Seth Rogen and more.”
The first three episodes of the Invincible animated series will premiere on Amazon Prime on Friday, March 26. New episodes will follow weekly after that.
