Freeform has released the official trailer for their upcoming limited dramedy series titled Love in the Time of Corona, providing us with preview of four interwoven love stories which are all set during this time of quarantine. The timely series is a four-part, two-night event that is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, August 22, 2020 and on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Check out the video in the player below!

Love in the Time of Corona will follow four interwoven stories about the hopeful search for love and connection during this time of quarantine — from the early days of the stay-at-home order through the events that ignited the worldwide Black Lives Matter protests. The miniseries was remotely shot and produced from the cast members’ own homes.
The series will feature real-life couples and friends along with their family members including married couples: Hamilton alum Leslie Odom Jr. and Nicolette Robinson (The Affair); and Gil Bellows (The Shawshank Redemption) and Rya Kihlstedt (Dexter) along with their daughter Ava Bellows. It will also feature Rainey Qualley (Perfect), Tom Dorfman (13 Reasons Why), L. Scott Caldwell (Lost) and Charlie Robinson.
The official synopsis for the four stories are listed below:
– James and Sade, a married couple who have been living somewhat separate lives, are forced back under the same roof after the pandemic puts James’ work travel to a halt. With headlines mounting, they begin to reevaluate their family’s priorities.
-The mostly platonic friendship of roommates Oscar and Elle becomes increasingly complicated with the uncertainty of the pandemic as they wonder if they can find love under one roof.
-Paul and Sarah put up a “happy couple” facade for the sake of their daughter Sophie (Ava Bellows) when the pandemic sends her home from college, though unbeknownst to her, they have separated.
-Nanda, a headstrong woman whose husband is unable to return home from his rehab facility, is determined to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary.

Love in the Time of Corona is created by Joanna Johnson, who is executive producing along with Christine Sacani, Robyn Meisinger, Odom and Robinson.
