Meet The Extremesons in new The Simpsons opening sequence
Fox has released a new The Simpsons video called The Extremesons, featuring the beloved titular family in a completely different animation style as they do some extreme sports together including skydiving, snowboarding, and surfing. The new opening sequence will be featured in the upcoming new episode titled “The Incredible Lightness of Being a Baby,” which is set to air this Sunday, April 19. Check out the video below!

Directed Bob Anderson from a script written by Tom Gammill and Max Pross, the new episode’s official synopsis reads: “Cletus becomes a helium tycoon. Meanwhile, Marge reunites with baby Hudson from Playdate with Destiny.”
The episode will be connected with the series’ second short film Maggie Simpson in Playdate with Destiny which made its streaming debut last Friday on Disney+. The short was originally released in theaters last month before Disney and Pixar’s Onward.

Created by Matt Groening (Futurama, Disenchantment), The Simpsons has been on-air for more than 30 years and had become a pop-culture phenomenon. The voice cast is consists of Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as his wife Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart and Yeardley Smith as Lisa.
New episodes air every Sunday night on FOX.
