Sky Atlantic has released the first trailer for The Raid director Gareth Evans’ upcoming crime drama series Gangs of London, offering us a preview of the series’ action-packed sequences. Starring Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror-Hang the DJ) and Michelle Fairley (Games of Thrones), Gangs of London is scheduled to debut sometime this year. In Gangs of London series, When the head of a criminal organization, Finn Wallace is assassinated, the sudden power vacuum his death creates threatens the fragile peace between the intricate web of gangs operating on the streets of the city. Now it’s up to the grieving, volatile and impulsive Sean Wallace to restore control and find those responsible for killing his father.
The British-American series stars Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror-Hang the DJ) as Sean Wallace, Michelle Fairley (Games of Thrones), Colm Meaney (Star Trek) as Finn Wallace, Sope Dirisu (The Huntsman: Winter’s War), and Lucian Msamati (Doctor Who, Taboo).

Gangs of London is created by Gareth Evans (The Raid), who directed five episodes with Corin Hardy and Xavier Gens also directing several episodes of the series. It is executive produced by Pulse Films’ Thomas Benski and Lucas Ochoa along with Sister Pictures’ Jane Featherstone and Sky Studios’ Gabriel Silver. Hugh Warren will also as a producer.
The series will debut in the UK on Sky Atlantic and in the US on Cinemax.
