The 10-episode second season will see the return of lead stars Daniel Radcliffe (Now You See Me 2) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) in a story about family, friendship and trying to avoid being murdered.
Set in the medieval era, the new season will follow a group of villagers as they try to stay positive in an age of extreme economic inequality, poor healthcare and widespread ignorance. Worse yet, their king is a bumbling ruler who treats his fowl and ducks better than his own subjects.
In addition to Radcliffe and Buscemi, who portrayed a low-level angel and God in the first season, Dark Ages will also see the return of regulars Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Jon Bass (Big Time in Hollywood, FL) and Lolly Adefope (Shrill) in new roles.
