Based on the John Hughes-scripted film of the same name, the series follows Megan, a stay at home mom who has just landed her dream job after raising her kids for five years, and Greg, a dad who is tired of his nine-to-five job, as they switch the roles up with Greg quitting his job in order to stay at home with the kids while his wife goes to jump start her career. Neither of them are quite prepared, however, as Greg learns all about dealing with tantrums, diapers and misbehavior while Megan has to adjust to a workplace that has evolved and changed in the years with new judgmental peers.
The 12-episode first season is being written by Mike Culbert, Mike Pellettieri and Leslie Rathe and stars Angie Tribeca and Super Troopers 2 star Hayes MacArthur as Greg and Better Off Ted alum Andrea Anders, as well as MADtv‘s Michelle Ortiz, Parks and Recreation‘s Minni Jo, StartUp‘s Lovensky Jean-Baptiste, Good Behavior‘s Joey Kern and Veep‘s Seth Morris.
The series is also being executive produced by Anders, Culbert, MacArthur and Pellettieri alongside Jay Torres (Alias), Michael Schreiber (Plus One), Julian Franco and Rachel Derrico.
