The Flash Episode 5.13 Promo: Barry Works With Goldface

The CW has released the first promo for The Flash episode 5.13 titled “Goldfaced,” highlighting Barry’s efforts in stopping Cicada by working with notorious criminal Goldface/ Keith Kenyon in order to obtain a device that can defeat the big bad. The new episode is scheduled to air next week on February 5. Check out the video below!

Alexandra LaRoche directed the episode which was co-written by Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza. Its official synopsis reads:

“BARRY AND IRIS EACH TAKE DANGEROUS STEPS TO STOP CICADA – Barry (Grant Gustin) and Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) must go undercover as criminals in an illegal black market to purchase a device that could help them stop Cicada (Chris Klein). Once inside, Barry and Ralph find their morality tested as they slip deeper into the criminal world, eventually having to choose between committing a crime, or losing the means to defeat one of their greatest foes. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) investigates a lead on Cicada’s whereabouts and ends up in a dangerous situation.”

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen aka the speedster hero XS, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton with Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Chris Klein (ElectionOzAmerican Pie) has joined the cast to play the new scourge of Central City, Cicada. A grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic — one metahuman at a time.
