Titans renewed for season two
Following the show’s world premiere at the 2018 New York Comic Con, DC Universe has announced they’ve renewed their first live-action superhero series Titans for second season. The series will officially premiere on the streaming platform on October 12. Recently, it was also reported that Netflix has acquired the international distribution rights to the highly-anticipated series.
Titans follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

It stars Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Hawk and Dove, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.
From Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, the series is one of the all-new exclusive original live-action series coming soon to DC UNIVERSE. It comes from executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

In the action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. Fans can expect the series to be a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
