First Look at Supergirl’s Reign Arrives

Ahead of tonight’s all-new episode of Supergirl, The CW has released the first official photo of the new villain for the series – Reign. Fans first saw the character, played by Odette Annable, in the Season 3 premiere as the young single mother, Samantha. Though it remains to be seen how she will turn into Reign, that the villain is described as a “Worldkiller” will certainly put her at odds against the girl of steel. Titled “The Faithful,” the new episode is officially described as follows:

“Kara investigates a secretive new group whose leader, Thomas Coville (guest star Chad Lowe), has a mysterious connection to Supergirl. Meanwhile, Samantha (Odette Annable) feels like she’s letting Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay) down, and J’onn confesses an old secret.”

Jesse Warn directed the episode, which was written by Paula Yoo & atie Rose Rogers.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Chris Wood as Mon-El, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Odette Annable as Sam/Reign, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz.
