British actress Charity Wakefield has joined the cast of the upcoming television reboot of “The Munsters,” “Mockingbird Lane,” Deadline reports.
Wakefield (The Raven) will play Marilyn Munster, Lily’s niece, opposite Eddie Izzard’s Grandpa Munster. Marilyn is the only Munster without any special powers, causing her to collide with some of her more “gifted” family members.
In the the original version, the role of Marilyn was played by Pat Priest.
Wakefield will begin work on “Mockingbird Lane” after shooting wraps on the ITV miniseries, “Leaving.”
