The upcoming Steven Spielberg-produced time travel series, “Terra Nova” is in the midst of a creative shakeup. According to Deadline, Executive Producer David Fury has left the project due to “creative differences.” Avatar‘s Stephen Lang, meanwhile, is said to be up for a key role.
Fury will not be replaced but, instead, showrunner Brannon Braga will assume the full role of writing Executive Producer. Braga is best known for his work on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
Lang will potentially play Frank Taylor, a “charismatic and ruthless leader” of Terra Nova, the series’ settlement constructed in prehistoric times.
