Rebecca Romijn has signed to headline ABC’s drama pilot “Eastwick,” reports Variety. Romijn, who most recently starred on the network’s “Ugly Betty,” will play Roxie, the lead character on “Eastwick.”
The actress joins a cast that also includes Lindsay Price, Veronica Cartwright and Jaime Ray Newman. “Eastwick” is based on John Updike’s novel “The Witches of Eastwick,” as well as the 1987 feature film of the same name.
Maggie Friedman is the writer and executive producer, while David Nutter is directing “Eastwick,” which comes from Warner Bros. TV.
