CBS is developing a reality show where contestants drive cars through a perilous obstacle course.
The Hollywood Reporter says the project is called “Thunder Road” and is executive produced by McG, whose TV credits include “Chuck” and “Pussycat Dolls: Girlicious” in addition to directing films like the upcoming Terminator Salvation.
In the “Road” pilot presentation, two teams risk demolition while driving a course stocked with challenging obstacles.
“Road” is created by Scott Messick and Justin Hochberg. Messick and McG executive produce. The pilot is from Warner Horizon in association with Wonderland.
