Regina King, Kevin Alejandro and Michael McGrady have been cast in NBC’s pilot “LAPD,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition, Benjamin McKenzie is in early talks to join the project, an ensemble drama from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. TV that follows a group of police officers in L.A.
King (“24”) will play Lydia, a smart, sympathetic detective in the Hollywood division.
Alejandro (“Shark”) will play Nate, a detective who is happily married with three kids and another on the way. McGrady (“Daybreak”) will play Sal, a detective who works most gang-related crimes and is obsessed with his family’s safety.
