The Hollywood Reporter says Madchen Amick has been hired to co-star opposite Christian Slater on NBC’s fall drama series “My Own Worst Enemy.”
“Enemy,” from UMS, centers on Henry (Slater), a mild-mannered suburban dad whose alter ego, Edward, is a suave spy.
Amick will play Henry’s wife, who has no idea about his double life. She replaces Yara Martinez who was originally cast in the role.
“Enemy,” which just wrapped production on its David Semel-directed pilot, is set to air in the plum post-“Heroes” Monday 10 p.m. slot starting on Oct. 31.
