The Hollywood Reporter says that Will Kemp has been tapped as the male lead in CBS’ drama pilot “Ny-Lon,” while Matthew Lillard has signed on to co-star opposite Geena Davis in the network’s drama “Exit 19.”
“Ny-Lon,” from ABC Studios, centers on a New York store clerk (Elisha Cuthbert) and a London stock broker (Kemp) who embark on a cross-continental romance.
“Exit 19,” from CBS Paramount and ABC Studios, stars Davis as Gloria, a quirky Manhattan homicide detective who also is a single mom.
Lillard will play Gloria’s younger brother who lives with her.
