Denise Richards will topline her own reality show for E! Entertainment Television, with Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”) producing, reports Variety. The series will debut this summer.
The untitled project will focus on Richards’ life as a single mom (and tabloid staple) following her high-profile divorce from Charlie Sheen. Seacrest is producing via his overall deal with E!, which has already yielded the popular “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
“At the core of this series is a resilient single mom who is trying to get her life back on track,” said Lisa Berger, executive VP, original programming and series development for E!
Eliot Goldberg, senior VP of production and development for Ryan Seacrest Productions, said he and Seacrest have been talking to Richards about doing a show “for quite some time.”
Seacrest and Richards will executive produce the project with Goldberg on board as co-executive producer.
