Universal Pictures has acquired Marcy Kaplan’s comic pitch Replacing the Nanny, with Kaplan to write the script. Stuber/Parent’s Mary Parent and Scott Stuber will produce.
The comedy focuses on the traumatic experience that a new mother faces when she finds the perfect nanny but is then faced with having to replace her.
Kaplan is writing the comedy for a specific actress she wouldn’t name.
