Suits LA to Bring Back David Costabile’s Original Series Villain

Actor David Costabile will be reprising his role as Daniel Hardman in the ongoing NBC series, Suits LA. The spinoff of the critically acclaimed legal drama Suits started airing on February 23, 2025. It features a multitude of stars, including Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, and many more.

David Costabile to return as Daniel Hardman in Suits LA

David Costabile, who was a member of the original Suits series, is making a return to the spinoff, Suits LA, according to a report by Variety. Costabile played Daniel Hardman, one of the most popular recurring characters from Suits.

However, the outlet states that the actor will appear in a “future episode,” details regarding which are still a mystery. Additionally, it is said to be a guest role. Costabile’s character Hardman was the co-founder and former name partner at Pearson Hardman. Hardman was fired from the law firm after it was discovered that he was involved in money embezzlement.

Apart from Costabile, the original series cast member Gabriel Macht, who is known for his portrayal of Harvey Spector, has already made an appearance in Episode 4, titled “Batman Returns,” of Suits LA. The episode which aired on March 16, featured Macht’s Spector in a flashback scene. Additionally, Rick Hoffman’s Louis Litt will also make an appearance in Suits LA.

Recently, while talking about his return as fan-favorite character Harvey Spector, Macht in an interview, said, “I’m really doing it for the fans and to pass the baton over to this new set of actors who are going to create great characters for the show in LA. It’s my part of my way of supporting them and saying, ‘Hey, you guys, go with it. Take the ball and run.’” He further shared that he was confident he would easily get back to playing Spector in the spinoff show. (via Forbes)
