The host of the 2026 Golden Globes has been revealed.
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will air in January 2026 on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the United States. The date and time are still to be determined.
Who will host the 2026 Golden Globes?
Nikki Glaser has been named the host of the 2026 Golden Globes. This marks Glaser’s second consecutive year hosting the ceremony.
“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,” said Glaser in a statement. “I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from The White Lotus who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in season four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”
“Nikki Glaser brought a refreshing spark and fearless wit to the Golden Globes stage this year,” said Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes. “Her sharp humor and bold presence set the tone for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony feel vibrant and most of all fun.”
At the 2025 Golden Globes, Glaser became the first woman to host the ceremony solo. Glaser received significant praise as the host of the largest awards show in the world that celebrates film and television. Glaser succeeded comedian Jo Koy, who hosted the 2024 ceremony.
Glaser’s 2024 might have been her best as a professional. The New York Times named her 2024’s “Comedian of the Year.” Glaser’s 2024 HBO special, Someday You’ll Day, was the network’s best premiere night for a comedy special in over two years. Someday You’ll Die recorded the largest streaming audience for a comedy special in HBO/Max history. The special won Glaser a Writers Guild Award and nominations at the Critics’ Choice, Golden Globes, Grammys, and Emmys.
Glaser recently wrapped her global The Good Girl stand-up tour. The comedian is touring the U.S., Canada, and Australia on the Alive and Unwell tour, which runs through October 2025.
