Ahead of the Star Wars show’s long-awaited Disney+ return on April 22, Disney has announced that Lucasfilm’s Andor Season 1 is now available to stream for free, offering fans a new way to revisit the first installment. Since making its debut in 2022, Season 1 has garnered a Certified Fresh rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 605 reviews.
How can you watch Andor Season 1 episodes for free?
As of today, the first three episodes of Andor Season 1are now streaming free on the Disney+ YouTube channel, while the full first season is now also available on Hulu until April 22. In addition, Disney will also be releasing a live rewatch event on YouTube titled Andor Season 1 with Tony Gilroy. The one-hour broadcast, hosted by Gilroy, will include a discussion with special guests about Season 1, reactions to key scenes, and behind-the-scenes information. It will also serve as an opportunity for fans to ask questions.
The series is executive-produced by showrunner and creator Tony Gilroy. The series stars franchise alums Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Alan Tudyk as Cassian’s droid sidekick K-2SO, and Ben Mendelsohn as Orson Krennic. They are joined by returning cast members Denise Gough as Dedra, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, and more.
