Another actor from Suits is joining the cast of the spin-off.
Who is returning and joining the Suits LA cast?
Per Deadline, Rick Hoffman will appear in Suits LA as Louis Litt, the role he played on USA Network’s Suits.
Louis Litt was an attorney who worked at Pearson Hardman. As the firm’s financial law expert, Louis was known for his neurotic and ego-driven personality. Hoffman starred in all nine seasons of Suits.
Hoffman will appear in one episode of Suits LA later this season. However, Hoffman could show up more down the road if NBC renews Suits LA for a second season. The actor is not the only regular from the original series returning for the spin-off. Gabriel Macht will reprise his leading role of Harvey Specter in a recurring capacity. No word if other actors from the USA Network series will show up in the Suits LA. However, Patrick J. Adams, who starred as Mike Ross, is open to an appearance in the spin-off.
“Ted’s firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” the official NBC synopsis reads. “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
The Suits LA cast is headlined by Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who heads to Hollywood for a fresh start as an entertainment lawyer. The show also stars Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, and Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen.
Aaron Korsh is the creator and executive producer of Suits and Suits LA. The spin-off currently airs on Sunday nights on NBC.
