Nobody Wants This Season 2’s cast has added two stars to the Netflix comedy series, with Deadline reporting that Arian Moayed and Alex Karpovsky have joined the show.
Who has joined the Nobody Wants This Season 2 cast?
Moayed is best known for his career in Broadway, having been nominated for two Tony Awards for his performances in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo and A Doll’s House. He also starred as Stewy Hosseini in HBO’s Succession throughout the show’s time.
Karpovsky is best known for his role as Raymond “Ray” Ploshansky in the HBO comedy drama series Girls, as well as the Prime Video psychological thriller series Homecoming.
According to Deadline, Moayed will star in the series in a “major arc,” and will play Dr. Andy, a “charming, highly regarded (particularly by himself) psychotherapist who might just be the perfect match for Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) sister Morgan (Justine Lupe).”
Karpovsky will play the role of Big Noah, “an overly confident rabbi at Noah’s (Brody) temple.”
Other newcomers to the cast of Nobody Wants This Season 2 include Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Miles Fowler. Season 2 of the series will premiere on Netflix sometime later this year.
Nobody Wants This premiered last year on Netflix, and hails from creator and co-showrunner Erin Foster. Alongside Bell and Lupe, Nobody Wants This also stars Adam Brody, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman.
