Amazon MGM Studios has officially welcomed Supernatural vets Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins to The Boys Season 5 cast. They are the latest Supernatural actors to join the hit Prime Video superhero series, reuniting them with the Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe Kessler, Jim Beaver as Robert Singer, and Rob Benedict as Splinter.
The long-awaited announcement was made through an Instagram video featuring Ackles, Padalecki, and Collins. Further details about their characters are still under wraps, but Padalecki and Collins are expected to appear as guest stars. Their casting comes nearly five years after Supernatural ended its 15-season run on The CW.

The Boys is created and executive produced by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke based on the comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series currently stars Karl Urban, Antony Star, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Valorie Curry, Susan Heyward, and more. The cast and crew are currently in production for Season 5.
The final installment will also feature Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Snowpiercer) and Mason Dye (Stranger Things ), with the latter set to play the role of Bombsight. It is executive produced by Ennis, Robertson, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter.
