Robert Kirkman hints Invincible Season 4 could get a 2026 release date
Invincible Season 4 was announced by the makers of the animated show before the release of Season 3. Now, the co-creator of the show has shared an update on the Invincible Season 4 release date with the fans.
While talking to Discussing Film, Robert Kirkman assured viewers that the current release schedule “is much more what we can expect going forward as opposed to the release schedule that we were in between Season 1 and 2.” Thus, it has prompted the whole Invincible team to move at the same pace to release the next season on time.
Kirkman further expressed that the team is working to get Season 4 out by 2026 and added, “I can’t guarantee that we’ll be coming back in early February every single year, but I can say that is the goal.”
Additionally, Simon Racioppa, the showrunner of Invincible shared his thoughts on Invincible Season 4’s release. He stated, “Everybody’s working as hard as they can. We have a huge team of people. But it’s a big book, and it’s a big show. It takes a lot of people, and a lot of time, and effort to try and get it right. We want it out as soon as you guys too.”
The animated show faced some criticism earlier for the split-release of its Season 2. Invincible Season 2 Part 1 debuted in November 2023, while Part 2 came out between March and April 2024.
