Natasha Rothwell, known for The White Lotus Season 1, recently discussed her return as Belinda Lindsey in Season 3. She shared that Belinda is in Thailand on a working vacation to study the resort’s wellness program. While there, she navigates being both a guest and an observer.

The White Lotus Season 3 premiere introduces four storylines, including the return of Belinda Lindsey (Natasha Rothwell), the former Maui spa manager.
Belinda arrives at the resort in Thailand to study its world-class wellness program. “I think it was exciting to be able to show her on vacation. It’s not a full vacation, it’s a working vacation. But I think when you travel, it allows you to sort of explore a different version of yourself,” Rothwell told Deadline.
Belinda is awaiting the arrival of her son, Zion, while navigating her dual role as both a guest and a professional learning from the resort staff. A significant moment in the premiere shows Belinda spotting another Black couple at dinner, exchanging a polite wave. Rothwell explained, “I think it’s allowing her to see the potential of what’s available to her. She can aspire to not just be in the role that she’s in.”
She also noted, “Every season, Mike really does force conversations around class and affluence and the haves and the have nots. I think Belinda’s presence, it’s such an agitator. She’s there to remind people of what it takes to run these resorts.”
The season follows multiple new guests, including the Ratliff family (Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger), Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and Rick (Walton Goggins), and longtime friends Kate (Leslie Bibb), Laurie (Carrie Coon), and Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan). The episode opens with Zion meditating before hearing gunshots, establishing early tension.
Greg Hunt (Jon Gries), Tanya’s husband from Season 2, may also play a role in Belinda’s story. Chelsea meets a woman who mentions her older boyfriend, Gary, who resembles Greg. Rothwell said, “I think once she puts the pieces of the puzzle together, she’s in real fear for her life, because she knows what he’s capable of.”
