House of the Dragon Season 3 Cast Adds Little Women’s James Norton

James Norton (Little Women, The Nevers) has been tapped to join the House of the Dragon Season 3 cast for the highly-anticipated next installment of HBO‘s acclaimed fantasy drama. Norton is set to portray the role of Ormund Hightower, a character who was already mentioned during the second season.

Norton’s Ormund Hightower will be introduced as “Otto’s nephew, Alicent and Gwayne’s cousin, and the Lord of Oldtown. He is presently leading the Hightower host in a march on King’s Landing to support his house against Rhaenyra.” In George R.R. Martin’s original Fire & Blood book, Ormund was one of the key characters during the Dance of the Dragons. He wielded a Valyrian steel longsword called Vigilance.
