Disney has officially announced The Simpsons: The Past and the Furious release date for its upcoming Disney+ exclusive episode, which will see Lisa time traveling to the past. This comes after more than a month since the show debuted its mid-season finale, titled “Bottle Episode,” written by Rob LaZebnik and Johnny LaZebnik.

The Simpons: The Past and the Furious is scheduled to start streaming on February 12, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. The exclusive episode is written by Rob LaZebnik. It will then be followed by the original show’s return on March 30, 2025 with the continuation of Season 36.

“In this exclusive full-length episode of The Simpsons, Lisa travels back in time to 1923 and discovers that the Springfield Mini Moose, once key to the town’s ecosystem, were driven to extinction in 1925,” reads the episode’s official synopsis. “Teaming up with young Monty Burns, Lisa works to save the moose, but her actions unintentionally shape his future as a ruthless tycoon.”
Created by Matt Groening (Futurama, Disenchantment), The Simpsons has been on air for more than three decades. Since then, it has been a staple in pop culture. The voice cast consists of Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as his wife Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart, and Yeardley Smith as Lisa. It is a Gracie Films Production in Association with 20th Television Animation.
