According to the latest report by What’s on Netflix, Stranger Things Season 5 might have two release dates, as Netflix may split the release of the final season into two.
The outlet stated that the final season of Stranger Things may be available for fans to watch in October and November 2025 based on this strategy. Though the report mentions fan speculation that the season may premiere on November 27th, no exact dates for each episode drop were reported, nor were any episode counts for each part.
Though the report of Season 5 opting for a split release has not yet been confirmed by Netflix or the creators of Stranger Things, adopting a split release strategy would not be new for the series as Netflix opted for this strategy for Season 4. Stranger Things Season 4 dropped on the streaming platform in two parts. While Volume One consisted of the first seven episodes and was released on May 27, 2022, the second volume comprised the last two episodes and was released on July 1, 2022.
With Season 5 being planned as the conclusion to the highly successful series, fans are expecting it to be full of emotional moments.
