Adam Scott and the other cast members of the upcoming Apple TV+ show Severance Season 2 recently surprised audiences at New York’s Grand Central station with a pop-up. Like its predecessor, the sophomore installment of the sci-fi psychological thriller series has also been directed by Ben Stiller. The cast of Severance Season 2 also includes Britt Lower, John Turturro, Patricia Arquette, Tramell Tillman, and many more.
Adam Scott appears with Severance Season 2 cast in NYC’s Grand Central Station
As the Severance Season 2 release date approaches, commuters at the Big Apple’s Grand Central Station got a sudden surprise.
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, a pop-up was placed at the station on Tuesday, January 14, which was similar to the workstations appearing in Severance. The workstations were guarded by a big glass cube and to everyone’s surprise, the cast of the Apple TV+ show was also there, acting as their Lumon counterparts.
In a clip shared by director Ben Stiller on X (formerly Twitter), Adam Scott, who plays the role of Mark Scout, was seen cleaning the carpet. Meanwhile, the other actors, including Arquette, Tillman, Lower, and Zach Cherry also pretended to work on their computers. They also did other activities, like sipping coffee, playing catch, etc.
Additionally, passersby at the station noticed Stiller recording the whole scene. He made another post on X, sharing an image of Scott, and wrote, “Grand Central right now.” The pop-up remained at the station for several hours.
Severance Season 2 will be available for people to watch on January 17. The first season was an instant hit among critics and viewers, thus generating immense hype for the second installment. The acclaimed show revolves around Mark, played by Adam Scott, who is the team leader of a group of employees. Their workplace memories have been surgically “severed” from their personal lives.
