The highly-anticipated Euphoria Season 3 has finally received a release date slate from Warner Bros. Discovery, much to the jubilation of the HBO series’ fans. The Zendaya-led teen drama debuted in 2019 and has since gone on to amass a massive fanbase. Following the release of the second installment of Euphoria in January 2022, multiple filming-related and external postponements have resulted in an extremely delayed third season. However, a recent update from Warner Bros. Discovery global streaming chief JB Perrette seems to have confirmed the premiere schedule of the third edition.
Euphoria Season 3 confirmed to have a 2026 release date
The WB executive announced the release date window of Euphoria Season 3 in a recent conference. JB Perrette also shed light on HBO’s planned slate for other popular shows in his statement.
According to Perrette, fans of the Emmy-winning series can expect its third season to come out sometime in 2026. Per Variety, the former Discovery Inc. CEO also revealed launch plans for other series, such as White Lotus, in a Wells Fargo-hosted tech and media conference.
Alongside Euphoria, Season 3 of The White Lotus also received a release date and will hit the small screens in February 2025. Meanwhile, The Last of Us Season 2 is expected to come out in spring 2025. Additionally, the much-discussed Game of Thrones spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is scheduled to premiere in the latter half of 2025.
Talking about the upcoming Harry Potter series, Perrette disclosed that the show is presently in its casting stage. As such, the series, which was previously believed to be released in 2026, will now aim for a 2027 premiere.
Euphoria Season 3 will showcase the return of most of its leading stars, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney. However, Barbie Ferreira’s Kat is set to miss out on an appearance in the third outing.
