The first photos from Yellowjackets Season 3 have been revealed.
Yellowjackets is a Showtime series created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The series premiered in November 2021, while Yellowjackets Season 2 arrived in March 2023. The series was renewed for a third season in December 2022. Yellowjackets Season 3 has been given a February 2025 premiere date.

What is happening in the Yellowjackets Season 3 photos?
One of the photos shows adult versions of Shauna Shipman (Melanie Lynskey), Taissa Turner (Tawny Cypress), Vanessa Palmer (Lauren Ambrose), and Jeff Sadecki (Warren Kole) attending a funeral. The memorial could presumably be for Natalie Scatorccio, given that the Juliette Lewis character died during the Yellowjackets Season 2 finale, though that has not been confirmed.
Another photo shows the teenage version of the girls still stuck in the woods and having some sort of disagreement with one another, as Jasmin Savoy Brown’s Taissa is facing an unseen subject while holding a gun while Samantha Hanratty’s Misty Quigley and Sophie Thatcher’s Natalie both look disgruntled for reasons that remain to be seen.
Lyle told Entertainment Weekly that “there’s a little bit of a time jump in both timelines” in Yellowjackets Season 3.
She also said, “One thing that’s always been important to us is that the timelines are really interconnected in terms of the characters and the totality of the characters and the consequences of what they went through didn’t end in the past.” She noted that Natalie’s death will have the biggest impact on Misty, while the teenage storyline will continue “some of the tensions and resentments that were building in season 2.”
Yellowjackets Season 3 will premiere on February 14, 2025, on Paramount+ with Showtime.
