ABC has ordered pilots for two new dramas, “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Judy’s Got a Gun,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
“Dirty,” also known as “The Darlings,” hails from “Six Feet Under” writer Craig Wright and producers Greg Berlanti and Bryan Singer.
Described as “Six Feet Under” meets “Dynasty,” the project centers on Nick George, an idealistic lawyer who inherits the job of tending to the legal (and sometimes illegal) needs of one of the wealthiest, most colorful families in New York.
Touchstone TV produces the pilot with studio-based Berlanti Television. Wright wrote the script and is executive producing with Berlanti and Singer.
“Gun,” also from Touchstone TV, is a procedural drama about Judy Lemen, a detective who struggles to balance her personal life as a single mother with her job investigating the unusual crimes that take place in suburbia.
Robert King and Michelle King wrote the script and are executive producing with Stu Bloomberg.
