In sharp contrast, the latest editions of The Boys and House of The Dragon could only record 5-10 billion minutes.
However, Bridgerton faced several obstacles on its way to becoming the most-watched show of summer 2024. The third edition of the series was released in two parts, causing many fans to doubt its resultant popularity. Nevertheless, this decision ended up being a masterstroke for the streaming platform as Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 managed to record 5.7 billion owned impressions in the first 45 days itself (via Deadline). In the process, the edition also became the third most popular English-language project on the streaming platform, behind Stranger Things and Wednesday.
