Senna Release Date Set for Netflix’s F1 Biopic Series

Netflix has announced the Senna release date for its newest sports biographical drama, starring Ferrari’s Gabriel Leone as he plays the role of late Formula One champion racer Ayrton Senna.

“Over the course of six episodes, Senna will, for the first time, depict the journey of overcoming obstacles, ups and downs, joys, and sorrows of Ayrton, exploring his personality and personal relationships,” reads the official logline. “The starting point will be the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s racing career when he moved to England to compete in Formula Ford, all the way to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.”

When is the Senna release date?

Senna is scheduled to make its debut on November 29 exclusively on Netflix. In addition, the streamer has also shared its first official key art poster, featuring a new look at Leone’s portrayal of the titular Brazilian racer.

Senna is directed by Vicente Amorim and Júlia Rezende, with Amorim also serving as the showrunner. Besides Leone, the miniseries also stars Pâmela Tomé, Matt Mella, Patrick Kennedy, Gabriel Louchard as Galvão Bueno, Alice Wegmann, Camila Márdila, Christian Malheiros, Hugo Bonemer, Julia Foti, Marco Ricca, Susana Ribeiro, Kaya Scodelario, Arnaud Viard, Joe Hurst, Johannes Heinrichs, Keisuke Hoashi, Leon Ockenden, Richard Clothier, Steven Mackintosh, and Tom Mannion. The creative team also includes head writer Gustavo Bragança along with producers Fabiano Gullane and Caio Gullane.
