Your Honor & American Vandal Season 3 Updates Given by CBS Studios

CBS Studios President David Stapf has given updates about Your Honor and a potential American Vandal Season 3.

Your Honor is a drama series starring Bryan Cranston that premiered on Showtime in 2020. It was originally intended to be a miniseries; however, it was renewed for a second season in 2021.

The second season, which was intended to be the final season, premiered in January 2023. While both seasons have been streaming on Paramount+, it was also recently added to Netflix, where it’s found massive success.

“We’re extremely proud of the show and knew how good it was,” Stapf said, via Deadline. “Having it air on another platform, we anticipated more people discovering it; audiences always find things that are good.”

Regarding whether or not Your Honor Season 3 could happen, Stapf said, “We love the show, and we’re hoping that it can continue, but it’s a little too soon to know or to tell. We would like there to be a Season 3 but we’re ways away.

CBS Television Studios is also involved with American Vandal. With the rights to the Netflix series having been reverted back to CBS Studios, Staphf said that continuing the series is currently being explored.

“We’re exploring that, we loved that show and that title,” he commented. “There’s nothing imminent, but we hope to bring it back in some fashion at some point.”

The first season of American Vandal — a mockumentary series that is parodying true crime documentaries such as Making a Murderer — premiered in 2017, while the second season came in 2018. It was reported that Netflix had decided to cancel the series in October 2018.

Both seasons of Your Honor and American Vandal are currently streaming on Netflix at this time.
